The Study-Buddy programme is meant for students who have a flair for meeting new people. They are here at the IR Office to extend a hand shake on the arrival of the foreign students, assist them with various formalities on their arrival and facilitate their social and cultural integration. They show them around the college campus, accompany them on shopping sprees and local sight-seeing trips and stay in constant touch with the foreign student to ensure that they are comfortable.
The study-buddies would have to attend training programmes conducted by the IR Office, once per semester.

The VIT studentsâ€™ Council elects a Foreign Student Secretary and a Foreign Student Representative from amongst the NRI and Foreign students to serve in their capacity for a tenure of one year.
